Ally Barron

Chief Development Officer

Ally Barron is a motivated and passionate professional with over fourteen years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, with expertise in corporate social responsibility, fundraising, donor relations, event planning, and marketing and communications. Ally has been with the Hope and Heal Fund since 2018 leading development and communication efforts and strategies; she is proud to have played a role in Hope and Heal Fund’s growth and success over the years. Ally is incredibly passionate about gun violence and firearm suicide prevention and feels it is an honor and a privilege to work in this space.

Ally previously managed the SKECHERS Foundation, raising over $3 million for the company’s corporate foundation, and managing over $6 million in grants to serve deserving children and families. Ally has worked in public education, managing the $13 million Manhattan Beach Education Foundation Endowment Fund. She previously managed a school in Ghana operated by a private foundation and started her career in nonprofit as the Program Assistant at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.

Ally received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Arizona State University, and her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Ally serves as the VP of Fundraising on the PFA Board at her son’s elementary school, where she also volunteers in the classroom. She serves on a number of committees for local organizations; she is incredibly proud and blessed to be a mother to Jack (6 years old) and Grace (2 years old).
