Diana Guardado

Communications Manager

Diana Guardado, the Communications Manager at the Hope and Heal Fund, has returned to the organization after interning with the team in 2021. Before joining as a full-time employee, Diana gained valuable experience at Bryson Gillette, a public affairs consulting agency. Her responsibilities there included drafting op-eds and high-level briefings, developing strategic communications plans for clients, and collecting quantitative metrics.

Her exposure to the realm of public affairs and politics has honed Diana’s skills as a strategic communicator. She excels at capturing the tone, mission, and overall image of organizations, political candidates, and private firms. Diana has mastered the art of crafting concise and impactful op-eds, implementing earned media strategies, and pitching to journalists covering diverse beats.

Additionally, Diana has demonstrated her research expertise during the management of research, evaluation, and data elements related to the educational shifts caused by COVID-19 in government-aided schools on Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda, during the summer of 2022. Her international research endeavors aimed to foster empathy, exchange ideas, and build relationships with local communities, religious leaders, and community stakeholders in order to provide equitable, sustainable, and culturally responsive solutions.

Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Policy, with a minor in Equity and Justice Studies, from Menlo College in Silicon Valley.
